These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed via the website armbeag.uk (“Website”).

By placing an order, you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms in the version valid at the time of order placement.

Each Armbēag piece is created as a fashion accessory, with attention to design, materials, and finish.

Due to the handcrafted nature and natural materials used, minor variations in colour, pattern, texture, and dimensions may occur between individual pieces. Such variations are inherent to the product and do not constitute defects.

Product descriptions and images are intended to represent the product as accurately as possible but are not a guarantee of specific properties beyond what is described.

Product photographs are taken under controlled lighting conditions and may appear slightly different on screen due to monitor settings, colour calibration, and resolution of the Customer’s device. Minor differences in colour, shade, or finish between the product shown on screen and the product received do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for a claim. Some visual content on this Website, including model imagery and lifestyle photography, may be created or enhanced using artificial intelligence (AI) and digital imaging technologies. Such imagery is used for illustrative and branding purposes only and does not alter the appearance or characteristics of the actual product being sold. All product photographs accurately depict the physical item the Customer will receive. Our products are decorative fashion accessories intended to complement personal style.

Placing an order on the Website constitutes a binding offer by the Customer.

An automatic order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of the order.

A legally binding contract is concluded only when we confirm dispatch of the goods.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or abuse of return policies.

All prices displayed on the Website are final prices, inclusive of applicable VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Shipping costs are displayed separately before order completion.

Payment methods available are shown during checkout. Payments are processed via secure third-party payment providers. We do not store payment details.

Any currency conversion fees charged by payment providers are borne by the Customer.

Orders are dispatched within 24 working hours where reasonably possible.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

For consumers within the European Union, the risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery (i.e. when the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer takes physical possession of the goods), in accordance with applicable law.

We are not liable for delays caused by logistics providers, customs authorities, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, provided that we have duly dispatched the goods.

Cross-Border Deliveries

For deliveries outside the European Union (including Switzerland and Norway), customs duties, import VAT, and administrative fees may apply and are the sole responsibility of the Customer.

Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries

If delivery is refused, not collected, or customs charges remain unpaid, the Customer bears all shipping, return, and customs-related costs.

Refunds will only be issued after the goods have been returned and inspected. If the goods are not returned (e.g. destroyed by customs), no refund will be issued.

Consumers residing in the European Union or European Economic Area have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU.

The withdrawal period begins on the day the Customer receives the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform us by an unequivocal statement (e.g. by email).

The Customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

We may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or proof of return is provided.

Any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods may be deducted.

Detailed instructions and the Model Withdrawal Form are provided on our separate “Right of Withdrawal” page, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

In addition to statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 30-day return period for unused items in their original packaging.

This voluntary policy does not replace or limit statutory consumer rights.

Custom-made or personalised items are excluded unless defective.

Your statutory warranty rights under German law (§§ 434–442, 475 BGB) remain fully unaffected by these Terms.

In the event that goods are defective at the time of delivery, you are entitled to statutory remedies including, but not limited to, subsequent performance (repair or replacement), reduction in price, or withdrawal from the contract.

The statutory limitation period for claims based on defects is two (2) years from the date of delivery of the goods.

The Voluntary Lifetime Replacement Service described in Section 10 is provided in addition to — and does not limit, replace, or affect — your statutory warranty rights.

We offer a voluntary lifetime replacement service as a gesture of goodwill.

If a product fails during normal use due to a manufacturing defect (for example, clasp malfunction or string failure without external damage), we will replace the product with an identical or comparable item.

This service:

• does not constitute a warranty or statutory guarantee
• does not guarantee quality, durability, lifespan, or performance
• does not entitle the Customer to a refund or monetary compensation

Approval is at our sole discretion and may require photographic evidence.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless otherwise agreed.

This Voluntary Lifetime Replacement Service does not constitute a warranty (Garantie) within the meaning of § 443 BGB and does not affect your statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistung) under §§ 434 ff. BGB.

The term “premium quality” is used solely as a descriptive marketing expression intended to convey the overall positioning and design approach of the brand.

It does not constitute a guarantee of quality, durability, lifespan, or specific performance characteristics.

Subjective perceptions of product quality do not constitute defects or grounds for claims.

Our products are not toys and are not intended for use by children.

They may contain small components which could present a choking hazard.

Products must be kept out of reach of children and animals at all times.

Our products are not edible and must not be swallowed, chewed, or inserted into the mouth, nose, or respiratory passages of any person or animal.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring safe storage and appropriate use of the products.

Our products may contain metal or other components typical for fashion accessories.

If you have known sensitivities or allergies to materials commonly used in fashion accessories, please contact us before placing an order.

Products are designed in Europe and manufactured by international production partners.

MCGJ acts as the Responsible Economic Operator within the European Union for product safety compliance.

Relevant compliance documentation (including material information and supplier declarations) is maintained internally in accordance with applicable EU regulations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• total liability shall be limited to the value of the relevant order

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct where such limitation is prohibited by law.

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of Gluzov Ievgen / MCGJ / Armbēag Heritage.

Any reproduction or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Transactional communications related to orders and post-purchase service are permitted.

Orders may only be placed by individuals aged 18 or older, or with the consent of a legal guardian.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Mandatory consumer protection rights of the Customer’s country of residence remain unaffected.

Jurisdiction lies with the courts of Nuremberg, Germany, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Promotional codes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be withdrawn or amended in cases of misuse or error.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
